EUROPEAN RIVER CRUISES
See Europe from your suite!
In the past few years, river cruising has become the favorite way to visit central Europe and France. Whether you want to see the World War II beaches or the lavender fields in southern France, the tulips and windmills of the Netherlands, the castles and vineyards along the Rhine, the amazing cities along the Danube like Vienna and Budapest, or travel from the North Sea to the Black Sea, there are many choices of itineraries on new vessels.
The real plus for traveling by river is that you generally dock in the city center, your meals and wine are included, and you only have to unpack once! How wonderful is that?
Seen Europe? There are also some popular river cruises on the Nile in Egypt, the Amazon in Ecuador, and in southeast Asia. For more information please contact me.

TRAVEL BY RAIL
A Destination Experience or a Romantic Interlude
Few things compare with train travel through beautiful, scenic country sides. Whether you are touring the Canadian Rockies on the Rocky Mountaineer, or speeding through the snow covered Alps, the rocking motion is soothing and the vistas are grand. Tour the Australian coastline on the SunLander, Australia's longest running rail journey. Travel in luxury on the Orient Express, the Royal Scotsman or the Blue Train in South Africa. Riding the rail is a convenient and comfortable way to add variety and fun on your journey, and great for the entire family also.
The Glacier Express is the most famous railway in the world. It travels from Zermatt to Davos or St. Moritz in around seven hours. It is a day trip through untouched mountain landscapes, glamorous health resorts, deep gorges, delightful valleys, 91 tunnels and across 291 impressive bridges. Passing through some of the most stunning landscapes in Europe, the Glacier Express was recently listed in the top 20 train rides by the Society of International Railway Travelers. Numerous other surveys have placed it in the top ten. A train to fall in love with.
The Rocky Mountaineer is a world-class travel experience, operating on not just one but four different routes in the Canadian Rockies, through spectacular scenery with truly excellent on-board service. In 1990, the service carried just over 10,000 guests, it now carries over 100,000 each year. Tourists use these trains as part of tours or packages, but they offer regular scheduled departures April-October and if you're travelling independently you can buy either one-way or return tickets in either direction between Vancouver & Banff, Calgary or Jasper.
